JEWELRY CARE
We attach great importance to the selection of materials and product quality. For this reason, we only work with the manufacturers we have selected. Correct and regular care can extend the life of your Jewelry, so you should heed some basic rules, as care plays an important role:
- Rings and other pieces of Jewelry should not be worn while doing housework, gardening, exercising or bathing in salt or chlorinated water.
- Perfume or hairspray can fade the shine of your Jewelry and dampen its brilliance. We recommend applying perfume, hairspray, body lotion or other cosmetics before putting on the Jewelry.
- Your Jewelry should be stored in a dry and dark place. We recommend using the enclosed Jewelry box or a Jewelry pouch for storage.
- Pearls must not come into contact with perfume, make-up or hairspray. Their surface will be damaged by alcohol or other solvents.
Cleaning
Soap, cream and make-up residues can best be cleaned off by using water with a little neutral detergent. In commercial silver immersion baths, only silver jewellery immersion baths may be used; Silver cutlery or gold jewellery baths are not suitable.
Usage: Immerse jewellery according to the time indicated on the instructions for use, then rinse thoroughly with warm water and rub dry. Blackened pieces of jewellery should not be cleaned in a silver immersion bath, otherwise the blackening will be lost. However, the surface can easily be polished with a silver cloth. Even pieces of jewellery with imitation pearls, freshwater cultured pearls, lapis lazuli, coral, turquoise, mother-of-pearl, jasper, howlite or hematite are not suitable for cleaning in a silver immersion bath.
In the case of leather, rubber and any kind of fabric straps, only the silver parts may be cleaned with a silver cloth. Please do not immerse leather and fabric straps in a silver bath.
